For JAG on the loss of her beloved pet dog
My dear JAG,
i am so sorry for your loss of late
sorry your home feels huge and empty
but to see you come and post is great
is a huge and generous testimony
you created this wonderful sanctuary
for Robloving women to congregate and share
that in our mutual and encouraging community
we experience a world more bright and fair
there is no easy way to say "Goodbye"
and no short cuts to the huge sense of grief
but the pain will ebb by and by
and time will offer some relief
but until the day after forever
one thing will remain ever true
the love you had is still yours to savour
and adds to the woman who is You
Who you are, Just A Girl,
is a warm and generous soul
You add colour to my real life world
and help make my jigsawed pieces whole
coming here to visit and share everyday
gives me enough reward and justifiable reason
to transcend daily troubles and still stay

Dear God...
This is my earnest and fervent prayer
To a God who might or might not be there:
Thank you so much for your awesome creation,
The wonder that is Robert Thomas Pattinson!
Not only for his unbelievably beautiful face,
Or how he moves with perambulatory grace;
Not only for heartbreaking and evocative vocals,
Or any of the other perfect little miracles
Of perfect eyes, ears, jaw, chin or lips,
Languid limbs, torso or seductive hips;
From the fulsome hair on top of his head
to the soles of the feet that cushion his tread;
all are marvels worthy of praise and mention
but i do have now another intention:
Please grant me the boon to meet him in person!
I want us to share a single conversation,
Please let me have my simple petition!
I want to experience him for my very own,
Your inimitable cherubim now all grown...
He who is still young and tender of years
Might air his dreams, anxieties or fears
I might proffer those gifts rendered unto me
To encourage and grow his will to be happy...
Oh, that he might live healthy and long and well
And that he might prosper and thrive and excel
That he may know true love and strong
And inherent differences of right from wrong...
What is it that is required of me
To perform this heartfelt homily?
For i have lived through adversity,
Survived with little shame and less timidity,
I wish for him the superior experience,
Courageous resolution and moral resilience;
Might he be spared the shafts of fickle fate,
Insights clarified and known too late,
Maybe he would stay as happy as he seems to be
Filling up the hours and the spaces of me...
But i know this prayer is born of selfish womb,
He needs his own lessons from cradle to tomb;
To think to spare him all hurt and pain
Is to ask for something futile and in vain;
So i must watch him navigate his path,
Witness the journey and the aftermath,
Wishing with every breath for his salvation
To bask me in his victory in reflection...
Ah, such a poignant and tender mercy then,
To behold this boy become a man,
Watch him love and lose and cry,
Watch him fledge and spring and fly,
To watch him buoyed in his own abundance,
Dazzling with fresh and livly exuberance...
Still, it would be a wonderful prize
To be able to gaze into his ever eyes,
To know for real the indisputable thrill
Of him before me, alert and still;
To truly share the joy he brings to me,
By breathing, by living, by being he;
I just want him to hear and know
How i truly deeply madly love him so...
So, God, if you are really here or there somewhere:

Rob’s Hope for Haiti
When you came onto the screen
Everything else faded to grey,
You’re the loveliest sight to be seen
On this woeful godforsaken day;
You are giving Hope to Haiti,
You are giving it to everybody!
Your warm and thougtful gesture
In being a part of this global venture,
So generously using your celebrity
To ameliorate this Haitian tragedy,
And do the Haitians know the heart
Or the soul of what drives your part?
I do not wish to be inappropriate
But i want to share what i do appreciate:
When i saw you in your fresh sprung youth
Speaking those old words of courageous truth,
(Not matter that they may not be your own)
Your tenderness and compassion have been shown;
And the light that illuminates your spirit within
Shone brightly under your human skin,
I have never seen you look more beatific
Than when you were doing this gig...
I did not think it at all possible
To experience this minor little miracle,
Of loving you so very much more
Than i thought i did before!
And the heart i thought overfull till then
Is now showing need to stretch and expand!
In all the universe and all the world,
You will not be loved more than by this girl!
For you not only brought hope for little Haiti,
You bring new life and zest and hope to me!

Lovely habitat for all kinds of food scraps -
A nest to make English mice and bees happy chaps!
But he still looks instantly good enough to eat
‘Specially now he has put on some extra body meat!
Good to have some Rob-rain spoil the drought,
Neat to see the young man rested and up and about;
Some women do not like man-beards, as they tell,
But all adore it on him, as Rob wears it well!

As Water for Elephants...
What a happy piece of Rob news to hear,
A potential project for our lovely dear!
“Water for Elephants” is to be made quite soon
With Sean Penn and Reese Witherspoon,
And the role our Rob will going for in that
Is possibly as “Jacob”, a young college dropout vet...
What curious circles we humans circumnavigate!
So many loop-the-loops to test and promulgate!
First, that he would be romancing the female lead character
Who, in Vanity Fair, played his Rawdy character’s mother;
Then to provide veterinary services for animals in need
When, as Edward Cullen, he hunts them for a feed!
And the werewolf his alter ego vampire is rival to
Goes by the character name of Jacob in New Moon too!
Ah, how wonderful for our guy if this news is true
And he gets cast with the talented other two!
Our Rob will definitely get to hone his acting skills
Not to mention to generate for us new cheers and thrills!
Only two questions now take up my thinking space:
How he will find time to relax with this hectic filming pace?
And most important for my own self-serving reason
When is he ever to film “Unbound Captives” in New Zealand?
Don’t tell me that the last project is not going to fly!!
Rob, you must come down-under!! Or all Kiwi chicks will die!!
So, all good for "Water for Elephants" or monkeys or whatevers,
Just don’t neglect these chronically-deprived cougars!!
(in response to rumour of a possible new movie project whilst news of the scheduled NZ filming of “Unbound Captives” – with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz – is nonexistent to date!! UC was to be filmed in NZ and South America at the end of 2009!!)
